Encompass is a series of relief prints that represent the complex structures of the psyche. Each piece acts as a window into sub-corporal realms, shifting between varying degrees of resonance. The series is printed with the use of industrial grids, originally functioning as an underlayer to constructed surfaces. Through the repurposing of this material, what was once a hidden structure becomes exposed, encircled, and encapsulated. Encompass invites the viewer to position them self between the “micro” and the “macro” while peering into transient circular apertures.
